  • MaxGrate Pultruded FRP grating is manufactured by assembling two structural fiberglass shapes (cross and bearing bars) into a grid pattern. These bar shapes are pulled continuously through pultrusion machine .this process permits production of continuous bar length up to 20 feet.

    MaxGrate Pultruded FRP grating mainly have three types:

    I-type pultruded grating

    T-type pultruded grating

    Heavy load pultruded grating

MaxGrate Pultruded fiberglass grating is manufactured by assembling two structural fiberglass shapes (cross and bearing bars) into a grid pattern. These bar shapes are pulled continuously through pultrusion machine- fiberglass reinforcement with liquid polyester or vinyl ester resin through a heated mold with temperature control at different sections of the die to facilitate resin to cure.

Compared to molded grating,pultruded gratings are with below advantages:

High Strength: Pultruded Grating products offer superior strength and stiffness. Since fiberglass is the key contributor to structural performance,the content of fiberglass in pultruded grating are as high as 55%. which can guarantee the highest strength to unit weight ratio. Therefore,Pultruded FRP gratings have high loading capacity than molded FRP gratings.

Fabrication Features: Many panel sizes allow for greater use versatility with longer spans which may reduce scrap loss.Not like molded grating,Pultruded grating offer possibility of any width or length for different applications.

The bearing bar of Pultruded fiberglass grating mainly have three types: I-shape bars, T-shape bars and high-load bars.

I-type

Pultruded FRP gratings with I-shape bars

are the most common used type. The

standard open rate is 60%,50%,40%.

T-type

This kind of pultruded FRP gratings have

T-shape bars and offer small open areas.The gritted top ensure the safetly.

High-load type

Pultruded FRP gratings with high load

bars are mainly used for heavy duty

applications.
